| SideCalc is a small calculator for the 9210. The main difference with the standard Calculator application is that it takes only a fraction of the screen surface. Very useful, when one needs to use Calc without losing sight of some important information in another application. It can be loaded, moved around the screen with the arrow keys, then sent to the background, and called back again from within any other application by a "hotkey" (Ctrl+Shift+Menu). |

|
SideCalc can be operated in standard mode or in RPN mode (Reverse Polish Notation). It has standard memory functions
(store, add, substract, recall, delete) and can perform basic direct percentage calculations (like 76+3%=). It also supports
Copy and Paste functions, to communicate with other applications. SideCalc is your real Multimedia Calculator: as it actually always remains in the background, even when its window is visible and it has keyboard focus, you can operate it while watching you favorite video, with the music ON. Can you do that with the standard Calculator of the Nokia? |

| Press Tab, and SideCalc becomes a clever Business and Finance calculator, amazingly fast and easy to use. Each "BusFin" screen works like a little spreadsheet with four cells (the four lines). The difference with a normal spreadsheet is that here each cell can be alternatively a data input cell and a calculated cell. This proves particularly useful for repeat calculations, or "what if" questions: enter a discount rate and calculate a net price for 10 different list prices, or enter mortgage data and calculate your monthly payments for 10 different interest rates, then check what should be the interest rate for a given monthly payment, etc... No other calculator will give you the answers with less keystrokes than SideCalc! |

| SideCalc is supplied with a set of "BusFin" screens, corresponding to 5 different calculation modes ("direct" and "reverse" percentage, mortgage repayment, maturity of a constant annuity, compounded interest rate). The screens can be customized, and more screens can be added. |

| SideCalc can store an unlimited number pre-defined functions, which can be called and calculated at the press of a key: |

| The functions can be easily created and modified by the user. An unlimited number of parenthesis can be included in the formulae, and basic scientific functions (sin, cos, log, int,...) are supported. Here is an example of the use of int() and a few parenthesis in a Euro conversion formula with rounding to the second decimal: |

| It is even possible to make conditional calculations, with an alternative formula if a condition is not met. |
