MiniCalc is a mimic of the Calc standard application of Psion Series 5.
The difference is that it takes only a fraction of the screen surface. Very
useful, when one needs to use Calc without losing sight of some important
information in another application. It can be loaded, moved around the screen,
used either with the pointer or from the Psion keyboard,
then sent to the background, and called back again from within any other
application by a "hotkey" (initially Ctrl+Fn+M, but can be changed to any other
letter). MiniCalc runs on most Epoc machines: 5mx, Revo, Series 7...
MiniCalc can Copy and Paste just like Calc. But it can do more: there is an option to auto-Paste when it is called at the foreground, or auto-Copy when it is sent to the background. See a view of MiniCalc with Big Brother in the background. Is it not nicer with thousands separators?
One keystroke, and a popup menu offers you to convert the displayed amount into Euro, or back to your home currency (actually you can select any set of two currencies):

Thanks to its "BusFin" extension screens, MiniCalc is also
a fully fledged Business and Finance calculator, both powerful and
amazingly fast and easy to use. Each "BusFin" screen works like a little spreadsheet with four cells
(the four lines). The difference with a normal spreadsheet is that here each cell can
be alternatively a data input cell and a calculated cell. This proves particularly useful for repeat
calculations, or "what if" questions: enter a discount rate and calculate a net price for 10 different
list prices, or enter mortgage data and calculate your monthly payments for 10 different interest rates,
then check what should be the interest rate for a given monthly payment, etc... No other
calculator will give you the answers with less keystrokes than MiniCalc!
MiniCalc is supplied with a set of 9 "BusFin" screens, corresponding to 5 different calculation modes ("direct" and "reverse" percentage, mortgage repayment, maturity of a constant annuity, compounded interest rate) The screens can be customized, and more screens can be added.

MiniCalc can store up to 12 pre-defined functions, which can be easily re-programmed by the user. It is even
possible to make conditional calculations, with an alternative formula if a condition is not met:
